Chapters

Chapter Units bring local fisheries scientists together to facilitate communication at the lowest geographic level.

Chapter membership is extremely valuable in bringing together fisheries professionals from the same state, province or other geographic region within a Division. Their annual meetings convey great amounts of information directly relevant to many attendees because of the localized nature of the Chapter. Chapters are geographically defined units intended to advance the Society’s objectives over more localized areas.

AFS Chapters are listed alphabetically below. Membership in an AFS Chapter does not automatically make someone a member of the American Fisheries Society – please remember to join both entities.
